Space Is The Place is an editorial project exploring the visual history of astronomy, science, and imagination.

Many remarkable scientific illustrations were never intended as works of art. They were made to understand the universe. Yet today many are appreciated for their extraordinary beauty.

I began collecting these images for myself. Over time, that personal archive grew into a publishing project restoring and republishing historically significant works.
